How steep or flat is the mowing area? Steep slopes may limit robotic mower effectiveness and viability. Localized severe hills can be handled with specialized robotic mower models.

Availability of power sources for charging stations across desired mowing areas. More options = more efficient charging station placement.

Reliable cellular signal and/or WiFi improves full course connectivity opportunities. Options exist for poor course connectivity.

Dense tree cover can interfere with RTK reception. Physical obstacles such as trees will decrease mower efficiency, but can be mapped as "no-mow" zones.

What type of property is being managed? Are the mowing areas connected or separated? Distance traveled between mowing zones?

Total allowable robot mowing time? How often are mowing areas occupied by players or events? Will you be able to mow during play?

Poor drainage may limit mowing and robot travel in excessively wet areas. Slopes can become unpassable in wet/slick conditions.

What is the complexity of mowing areas? Are there clear perimeters and safe mowing zones? Will the mower be required to navigate complex obstacles? Are these obstacles moved daily?

Risk of damage or theft in public areas. Will mowing at night be possible without concerns? Will self-docking robot mowers require garages for enhanced security?

How much external support does your course need for robotic mowing implementation and maintenance?
